Bhoja R Katipally
MD, MPH, FAAFP, DipABLM
Board-certified Family & Lifestyle Medicine Physician | Founder & CEO
Dr. Katipally is a passionate physician and a strong patient advocate. He is an honorary Fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians, and a diplomat of the American Board of Lifestyle Medicine.
He holds a certification in Plant-Based Nutrition from the world-renowned nutritional scientist Dr. T. Colin Campbell from Cornell University. After practicing traditional medicine for 15+ years and serving as the medical director at the University Health System, he pivoted his personal lifestyle, career path, and practice toward plant-based nutrition and lifestyle medicine.

Dr. Katipally experienced the benefits of this approach firsthand and lost 40 Lbs, lowered his blood pressure, improved his cholesterol and glucose values.

Eva Nestor Alcantar
RDN, LD | Plant-based Dietitian

Eva received a degree from Eastern Michigan University and has additional training in Bioindividual and Precision Nutrition.
Her experience spans from working as a clinical dietitian at Southwest General Hospital to developing the nutrition department at the Children’s Rehabilitation Institute Teleton.
Eva is passionate about using her knowledge of nutrition to help patients reverse chronic diseases.

At New Me Health, Eva provides Diet and Nutritional counseling and coaching to our patients helping them on their journey from illness to wellness.

Sandya Nalimela

Sandya joins the New Me Health family as our Accounting Assistant and Internal Business & Financial Advisor. With her strong analytical background and financial acumen, she supports our operations by optimizing resources, guiding budgeting strategies, and helping expand our services to transform lives beyond San Antonio.
Beyond her professional role, Sandya is a strong wife, loving mother, and living example of the Six Pillars of Lifestyle Medicine through her plant-forward way of life. Her personal belief and commitment to healthy living not only resonate deeply with our mission but also help carry New Me’s philosophy beyond its physical boundaries.

Jorge Vela
Fitness Coach

With over 25 years of experience in the fitness industry, Jorge is passionate about helping people to lose weight, gain strength, improve endurance and sports performance, and recover from injury and illness.
Jorge has a Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Science from Texas A&M University as well as multiple PT certifications and specialties in Sports Nutrition, Sports Performance, TRX suspension training, TRX Sports Medicine, DNA Based Fitness Coach, and Kettlebell Fundamentals. Jorge runs group fitness classes and fitness boot camps at his private studio.

His results-driven fitness program and ability to make exercise fun have led to hundreds of happy clients. At New Me Health, he facilitates the fitness programs, guiding patients through exercise techniques and regimens.
Heather Borders
RDN, LD | Plant-based Culinary Dietitian
With a degree in Nutrition & Dietetics from the University of North Florida, an MBA & MME from Rice University, a Bachelor of Aerospace Engineering from Auburn University and has previously worked for NASA., Heather has a unique and diverse educational background.

Heather is a certified Culinary Dietitian, a Food for Life (FFL) Instructor with the Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine (PCRM), and holds a certificate in Plant-Based Cooking and Plant-Based Nutrition.
As the Founder of Kailo Nutrition, a culinary nutrition practice in Florida, Heather is passionate about using nutrition to prevent and reverse chronic illness. At New Me Health, Heather is responsible for the culinary section of the program.

Sirisha Potluri
Lifestyle Medicine Coach | Plant-based Nutrition Physician
Sirisha Potluri is a medical doctor passionate about preventing and reversing illness through plant-based nutrition. She received her MBBS from Guntur Medical College and completed a Family Medicine internship at California Medical Center.
Dr. Potluri has been featured on numerous shows & podcasts and is the co-founder of “Plant-Based Thursdays,” a social network where she shares her passion for crafting whole-food plant-based recipes.

Having hosted over 70 plant-based workshops and more than 6 diabetes reversal programs, Dr. Potluri brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the New Me Health team.

Alison Ozgur
MAT, MHS, RDN, DipACLM
Alison is a registered dietitian, nutritionist, and wellness expert with advanced training and expertise in whole-food, plant-based nutrition. As a registered dietitian with over two decades of experience, Alison has expanded her love of health and wellness as an author, college professor, school health teacher, certified meditation and mindfulness teacher, and registered yoga teacher.
She is a Diplomate of the American College of Lifestyle Medicine as a Certified Lifestyle Medicine Professional. She is currently serving as the Director of wellness programs at T. Colin Campbell Center for Nutrition Studies and also the Chair-elect for the Vegetarian Nutrition Dietetic Practice Group (VN-DPG) under the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.

At New Me Health, Alison contributes as an advisor with her expertise and knowledge of lifestyle medicine, whole-food, plant-based nutrition, and other wellness and mindfulness modalities.
